Parents Gateway 11.3.0

Parents Gateway is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to provide parents with Singpass the convenience of interacting with schools regarding administrative matters. In addition, this mobile app allows parents to stay informed about their child's school programs and activities.

Currently, the app is exclusively available for mainstream MOE Kindergartens, Primary schools, Secondary schools, and Junior Colleges/Centralised Institutes.

Known Issues:

• Samsung S7 devices running on Android 6 and 7 may encounter compatibility issues. To use Parents Gateway, please upgrade your device to Android 8 or higher.
• Rooted devices now have enhanced security measures in place. These measures may block certain apps like Lucky Patcher and Rom Manager. Uninstalling these apps will enable you to use the Parents Gateway app smoothly.
• Oppo and Huawei devices may experience issues with receiving notifications or inconsistent notifications. This is due to battery optimization settings set by the manufacturers.

Note:

• If you choose to log out of Parents Gateway, you will no longer receive notifications for new announcements and consent forms until your next login.
• The Parents Gateway app uses Singpass solely for identifying and authenticating parents of students in MOE schools. Singpass ID and password are not stored within the app. The connection to Singpass is terminated once successful authentication occurs, and subsequent logins are managed by the Parents Gateway app. Rest assured, there is no risk of Singpass credentials being stolen if a user remains logged in.
